Susan joined our team in the Spring of 2020 as the new Office Manager.  She graduated from the Office Education program at the Manhattan Area Technical School in 1985.  She has since worked at various positions as a Reception/Secretary/Office Manager for the last 35 years.  Each position has helped her grow and teach her the intricacies of managing an office.   Susan considers herself to be a team player and she enjoys all things about an office environment – from answering the phones, to creating/updating letters and spreadsheets and all things in between.  Susan’s role is critical in keeping the office running smoothly, so the architects and designers can do their work.  She, also, has a little grammar police in her, she loves punctuation and spelling of words.

 

She enjoys seeing a building in its different stages of completion.  From the clearing of the ground and wondering what they are going to build there; to the finished building.  Just seeing each stage is amazing.

 

Susan has lived in Salina for 3 and half years.  She enjoys being in the same town as her family, which didn’t happen for 30+ years.  She has been married to her husband, Kelly, for 10 years and has three children:  Angie lives in Germany, Sheree and her girls (Sophie and Khleo) live in Kansas and Carl and his girlfriend, Lacey, live in Arkansas.  Susan enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at her church.  She also likes being at home and thinking up new ideas with her husband to improve their new house.
